2026 'Songs & Stories' Tour
Alt-country duo APRIL MOON
take their suitcase drum & Canadiana charm on the road
for 2026 tour
Boot-stompin’, harmony-hollerin’ fun across the UK, Europe & Canada.
Get ready to soak up some feel-good, prairie sunshine — APRIL MOON are packing up The Clubhouse (their trusty campervan) and heading back on the road. Known for their irresistible blend of twangy and jangly guitars, harmonies that could knock your socks off, suitcase kick drum, playful songwriting and unique take on covers, Jaime April and Jason Moon are bringing their trademark Canadiana sound to stages far and wide.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of their album The Bus That Takes The Sad People Away, and to celebrate they’ll be rolling out brand new singles alongside fan favourites, reimagined deep cuts, and the kind of kooky storytelling that’s earned them fans on both sides of the Atlantic.
“10 years, 1 campervan, 0 plans to settle down and a whole lot of songs — we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than by making more music and sharing it with everyone who’s been with us along the ride” says Jaime.
Fresh from their rootsy EP Forgiveness Juice — recorded in Liverpool and championed by BBC Introducing Radio and Countryline Homegrown — APRIL MOON's new songs are already gaining attention at live shows with requests for more banjo!
Formed on the prairies of Saskatchewan, Canada and having cut their teeth on the open road, APRIL MOON have built a reputation for delivering shows that leave toes tapping, cheeks aching from smiling, and spirits flying sky-high. With their genre-bending style — fusing alt-country, Americana and folk-rock with a definite nod towards bluegrass — they deliver a sound reminiscent of early Californian country à la Gram Parsons, Uncle Tupelo, and the Grateful Dead.
2026 dates are on the website with more waiting to be confirmed. In the meantime, buckle up, stream their music wherever you get your tunes, and keep an eye on APRIL MOON’s socials to come along for the ride!
“What an incredible night ! It was great to host APRIL MOON at long last. They were every bit as fantastic as we expected, delivering a truly superb gig, with an absolutely mighty sound for a duo. Two brilliant sets of original songs, with some carefully chosen covers in between, plus an absolute blinder of a much called-for encore. They have everything going for them. Excellent musicianship, fully engaged with the audience, well written songs and oh so quirky covers.”

About APRIL MOON
Hailing from the prairies of Saskatchewan, Canada, Jaime April and Jason Moon are the brains, hearts, and suitcase drum behind APRIL MOON. The pair split their time between the UK, Europe, and Canada, travelling around in a Transit conversion campervan (The Clubhouse). Their music is fun, heartfelt, and a little bit wild and strange — just like the duo themselves. From love and scandal to prairie life, cow autopsies, and living in abandoned breweries, their songs are as quirky and wide-ranging as the places they’ve called home.
Drawing inspiration from legends like the Carter Family, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Fleetwood Mac, and Dwight Yoakam, along with alt-country pioneers like the Jayhawks and Steve Earle, Jason and Jaime have also found a spark in today’s new wave of boundary-pushing artists like Sierra Ferrell, Tyler Childers, Sturgill Simpson, and fellow Saskatchewan native Jake Vaadeland. ‘Forgiveness Juice’ fits perfectly into the resurging wave of Americana / alt-country music with a sound that is rootsy, radiant and ridiculously fun. APRIL MOON are here to keep the campfire burning—and the good times rolling.
